Wander Media Company has announced the addition of the Courtyard by Marriott Jacksonville Airport and the Residence Inn by Marriott Jacksonville Airport to its viewership, increasing Wander’s audience to more than 1.7 million each year across 50 hotels, resorts, and visitor centers.
Wander has experienced explosive growth over the last 18 months with the addition of properties like the Omni Amelia Island Plantation, the King & Prince Resort, the Four Points by Sheraton Jacksonville Beach, and the Hilton Bayfront in downtown St. Augustine. “We’re thrilled to be embraced by not only area hotels and resorts, but restaurants, attractions, and of course, the millions of visitors traveling into our region every year,” said Kate Strickland, Founder and CEO of Wander Media Company. “It’s an exciting time for the hospitality community at large.”
Wander Media Company’s four visitor information channels - Wander Jacksonville, Wander Amelia Island, Wander St. Augustine, and Wander Golden Isles - are delivered directly to the in-room television of hotels and resorts. They not only inform and entertain viewers, but they are a critical tool in encouraging repeat travel to the area and a longer length of stay. Local businesses such as Taverna, World Golf Hall of Fame, Restaurant Orsay, and Adventure Kayak Florida are featured in video segments that air on the channel, and they have benefitted from the increased exposure for their brands. “Wander has been a critical part of our advertising strategy for the last two years, and we’ve been extremely pleased with having a medium by which to tell our story to area travelers,” says Kiley Efron, Owner and Wine Director at Taverna in San Marco. “It’s a no-brainer."
