OUr Story

In the fall of 2015, an idea was born.

The premise was straightforward enough: create a television channel that informs area visitors about places to eat, drink, shop, and play during their stay.

But how? The answer was not quite so simple.

First, a team of engineers developed the technology necessary to deliver exclusive, original video content directly to the in-room televisions of area hotels and resorts.

Then, a talented crew of producers, videographers, writers, and hosts began carefully crafting video content that informed, entertained, and inspired viewers to explore the very best in local dining, recreation, culture, and the arts.

Today, Wander is the premier destination marketing media provider in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia, airing nearly 70 hotels, resorts, visitor centers, and airports throughout the region and reaching more than ten million viewers every year.

Furthermore, Wander's technology and marketing model are now being applied to countless other industries, including hospitals, universities, multi-location businesses, and cities and counties throughout North America.

For Rebecca Reed, her goal is to bake the world a better place! For the last 10 years she has been showcasing her motto on the Jacksonville Food Scene. She will be starting a new role overseeing the Pastry Programs at Pesca, Michael’s, and La Nouvelle in 2023 as she expands her craft in St Augustine.

Rebecca graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Sociology from Wingate University, but soon realized that instead of studying the development and structure of human society, her contribution to society would be through sweets! She moved to New York City to study at the French Culinary Institute. Here, she would learn from some of the most famous chefs in the world and graduated with honors.

She loves to share her dedication to making delicious food and inspiring people on camera. More recently, she was a finalist on The Dr Seuss Baking Challenge on Amazon Prime in 2022 and won an episode of Chopped Sweets on Food Network in 2020. You can see her hosting her cooking show, Plated, on YouTube and Wanderlust on screens around town and Jacksonville Airport.
