Mandarin & Julington Creek

Mandarin and Julington Creek are located in south Jacksonville alongside the St. Johns River. The area was glorified in Harriet Beecher Stowe’s Uncle Tom’s Cabin, as well as Pat Frank’s Alas Babylon. Characterized by magnificent oak trees and dramatic Spanish moss, Mandarin and Julington Creek offer some of the best views of the St Johns River in greater Jacksonville.

Mandarin Museum and Walter Jones Historical Park are situated on 10 acres of riverfront, while Mandarin park features nature trails, a fishing pier, and a boat ramp into Julington Creek. Attractions such as the Comedy Zone, and unique shopping at hot spots like The Pink Nickel infuse the old with the new, making Mandarin and Julington Creek truly one of a kind.
